Our Impact: Serving Thousands of Families Across Montgomery County
How We Help
The Abundant Harvest Food Pantry began as a local response to growing food insecurity in Montgomery County. What started as a community effort to help neighbors in need has grown into a trusted source of food support for thousands of individuals and families across Spring, Conroe The Woodlands, New Caney, and surrounding areas.
Rooted in a mission to make food accessible and respectful, our pantry operates with an appointment-based system and community food distributions to reduce barriers for people who struggle to put food on the table. We help families plan ahead, offer predictable food pickup times, and bring food directly into neighborhoods where transportation and access can be challenges.
We serve thousands of households every month through both our pantry services and community distributions at locations such as Mission Woods Apartments, Pineview Apartments, Bellshire Apartments, and Dogwood Elementary School in New Caney — helping ensure food reaches households where it’s needed most.
Over the course of a year, Abundant Harvest distributes nearly one million pounds of food to families who might otherwise go without, serving more than 2,000 families and over 5,000 individuals each month. These numbers reflect real neighbors — parents, children, seniors, and working families — who depend on steady food access to make it through the month.
Our story is not just about food; it’s about reliable, practical support for people in our community facing real challenges. We are committed to serving with dignity, transparency, and consistency every day.
Driven by Passion
Abundant Harvest Food Pantry is driven by a commitment to serve our community with consistency, respect, and purpose. Our work is rooted in the belief that access to food should be reliable, organized, and dignified—especially for families facing difficult circumstances.
That passion shows up in how we operate every day: keeping regular service hours, maintaining clear processes, and meeting families where they are—whether through our pantry or community food distributions across Montgomery County, including Spring, Conroe, The Woodlands, and New Caney.
Our team and volunteers are motivated by more than good intentions. They are driven by the responsibility to show up, prepare food carefully, and ensure households receive the support they depend on month after month. This commitment allows us to serve thousands of families consistently and to distribute nearly one million pounds of food each year.
We are passionate about doing the work well—reducing barriers, improving access, and responding to real needs with practical solutions. That focus is what allows Abundant Harvest to remain a trusted food resource for individuals and families throughout the community.
If you don’t live to serve others, you are not truly living.
