Our Story

Abundant Harvest Food Pantry was founded to meet a growing need for reliable food assistance in Montgomery County. What began as a community outreach connected to St. Isidore Church quickly grew into a dedicated food pantry focused on providing consistent, respectful support to families facing food insecurity.

Our work started in 2017 as a mobile food pantry, responding directly to the needs of families impacted by Hurricane Harvey. By bringing food directly into affected neighborhoods, we were able to reach households that had limited access to traditional food resources.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for food assistance increased dramatically. In response, Abundant Harvest scaled its operations and distributed nearly one million pounds of food, ensuring families had access to essential groceries during a time of widespread uncertainty.

Today, Abundant Harvest Food Pantry continues this mission by serving thousands of families each month through our pantry services and community food distributions. Our focus remains on providing dependable food access, reducing barriers, and supporting individuals and families throughout Spring, Conroe, The Woodlands, New Caney, and surrounding areas of Montgomery County.

Our story is not just about food; it’s about reliable, practical support for people in our community facing real challenges. We are committed to serving with dignity, transparency, and consistency every day.
